When we met with Lisa and Chris they made one thing very clear: they really wanted photos to be the most important part of their wedding. We did our best to maintain our composure through our excitement for the rest of the meeting while we brainstormed ideas with them (seriously, we could barely make it to the car before we were reveling in how excited we were for this shoot). In the end they decided that they wanted us to shoot a short ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and then do photos with just the two of them for four more hours around Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and Ventura! Oh, and did I mention that the Ventura County Fair just happened to be in town that day and they decided that they wanted to shoot there too? Oh yeah. That totally happened! In short, we had a really great time shooting this awesome couple.

Elisha - Oh my gosh! This is fantastic. This has three of my favorite places wrapped into one awesome shoot. You guys rock! I can only imagine how hard it was to pick photos for this blog.

Jenette - This is so cool! Taking wedding photos at what looks like a street fair! How playful and non-traditional of the couple. I am so for that, get away from the cliques of weddings and do something that truly shows your joint personalities. We got married in Santa Barbara as well! Beautiful day and thankfully our beach wedding was during low tide!
