Sweet Camarillo Backyard Wedding: Cameryn + Mark

Are you ready for your mind holes to be straight-up blown to pieces!? The Marianne Wilson Photography duo of awesomeness that most of you know (Marianne + Joe) is actually a trio (Quick aside to our families: don’t start going crazy. We are not pregnant)! We know, this kind of a revelation is almost as shocking as the day you found out that to there was no invisible lock on the cookie jar and that your parents weren’t the only ones who had the invisible key… is that not a thing?… whatever. Once the room stops spinning, read on and we will explain.

Behind the scenes at Marianne Wilson Photography is our super awesome studio manager, Cameryn. She keeps this place running by managing our schedules, drafting emails, packaging USBs for delivery, and so, so, so very much more. In return, we take on the heavy burden of getting all of the credit and praise for the amazing customer service that Cameryn makes possible. It’s a win-win, really.

Seriously though. Cameryn’s role here cannot be overstated. If you love working with Marianne Wilson Photography, you love working with Cameryn. She is awesome and we love her like family. So, when she asked us to photograph her wedding, we had a big ol’ case of the feels. To say that we were simultaneously honored and excited is an understatement of epic proportions. We are not going to lie, we also got pretty choked up quite a few times at her wedding. It was wonderful getting to celebrate this huge milestone with her.

Oh, and Mark was there too and we guess he was cool or whatever. We kid, we kid. It was also great getting to hang out and celebrate with Mark and get to know him better too. :)

Crossroads Estate Wedding: Caitlin + Dan

What can we say about Caitlin + Dan’s gorgeous Crossroads Estates (by Foley Estates) wedding? These two are a perfect pair and it was a pleasure to photograph their wedding day. They had an amazing ceremony where they had friends and family members come up and give readings, tell stories, and marry them as a community. It was such a great experience and made for a very emotional and personal ceremony. They also had a poet come and type small poems for their guests on any subject they wanted. Such a cool memento for people to take home and remember this day! Honestly we can’t say enough good things about these two and their friends/family. From Caits group of girlfriends helping her get ready to the amazing toasts by their two best friends, this wedding was so full of personal touches and love.

Bel Air Bay Club Wedding: Britt + Steve

What is this? A SECOND blog post in just one week? This is madness! Sheer insanity! “Dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!” – Dr. Peter Venkman – Ghost Busters. :)

Britt and Steve’s wedding had a theme that they absolutely nailed: “when you’re in love, the whole world is in bloom.” They didn’t go too crazy over-the-top with it, but there were gorgeous floral nods (provided by The Little Branch) throughout most aspects of the day, and it was so crazy beautiful. Kudos to them and to all of the event service professionals who pulled their vision together and made this day such a beautiful blast to photograph. We are also slightly obsessed with Britt’s beautiful lace dress. Come on! Those sleeves?! That back?! It was the absolute perfect choice. Oh and Britt’s dad may have had a plane fly over the ceremony site during the ceremony w/ a big banner that said “Just Married Brittany <3 Steve” which is pretty darn epic.
