We have shot 250+ weddings together and there isn’t much that makes us nervous at this point.

We have shot celebrity weddings. No big deal. We were totally calm.

We have shot the weddings of our closest friends and family members. We were cool as cucumbers.

We have shot at venues that make other photographers want to cry. We eat challenging venues for breakfast.

But, for this wedding we were as nervous as we could possibly be. This was because the bride’s father is Joe’s dentist and there is just a whole new level of pressure added when you know that the father of the bride is going to be in control of sharp tools that are in your mouth.

We are 100% kidding, of course. Alli + Adam are super sweet and Alli’s Dad is a super nice guy, so we weren’t actually any more nervous for this wedding than any other. There was no reason for us to be nervous. Alli + Adam are awesome. Their families are as nice as can be. North Ranch Country Club is great. Hi there! In the heat of wedding season it seems we have neglected our poor-lil’-blog here. Sorry about that! The good news is that we have all sorts of shoots to share with you as we catch up on some wedding and engagement session blog awesomeness! :)

Today we have a totally stunning wedding to share that took place in the hills of Malibu / Agoura Hills California at Cielo Farms Winery. This was our first time photographing a wedding at Cielo Farms at it was quite a treat! If you happen to be a Southern California resident you know we have had a fairly hot start to our summer. Well… this wedding was definitely on the warm side. But! That didn’t spoil any of the fun or beauty of Jessie + Emil’s gorgeous wedding day. These two and their families and wedding party toughed out photos in the heat and looked amazing doing it (and happened to be one of the nicest groups of people ever too!). Jessie and Emil also made some time for a set of sunset photos that took a little trust. I mean, when your photographers say that they have a spot in mind and lead you into a parking lot full of cars and then ask you to stand on some rocks and you do it with no question, that’s some epic commitment to sparkle motion (any Donnie Darko fans out there?)!

Wow, ok..so. We simply love this family. We photographed Chasen’s sisters beautiful Maravilla Gardens wedding awhile back (see here) and from that point on we have felt like a part of their family. We were so excited when Danielle reached out to us to photograph her and Chasen’s insanely stunning Graf Barn wedding in Oxnard (and not to mention their engagement session…swoon). These two are, of course, absolutely gorgeous as a couple (and just as humans) but they are so sweet and loving and insanely in love too. Oh and, this family…knows how to party.
