Haley + Brian really wanted to shoot at Balboa Island for their Engagement Session. While we were shooting in front of Haley’s Grandma’s house, we found out that they had actually spent their first date people-watching in the exact location that we placed them for one of our first stops of the day! It was so much fun shooting while they relived that first date and reminisced about the things they had done and seen from that very spot. Then we walked around and it was so cool to be listening to their stories about Balboa Island, particularly the community-wide division over the major political dispute about which store actually made the first “Balboa Bar” (an ice cream on-a-stick with various dipped toppings). We may have also ended the shoot at a random laundry mat where we told them they were hiding from zombies in some sort of impromptu apocalyptic scenario…..we may have done that.  It was a really great day and we can hardly wait to see them again for their Hummingbird Nest Ranch Wedding in Simi Valley this summer!

Update: Check out there wedding Here!

Do you know any couples who are super fun, suddenly start singing We Are Young, and are willing to just start dancing when you ask them to (or even without being asked)? If not, then you should stop whatever you are doing and figure out a way to meet Tiffany + Bryan as soon as humanly possible. Seriously, they are a super sweet couple. They braved some very cloudy/cold weather for their Agoura Hills and baseball Engagement Session and they were still so cute together. Enjoy!

Cute couple. Cute locations. Cute dog. BAM! You’ve got a killer recipe for a fun engagement session! Hayley + Luke wanted to do an Engagement Shoot that had a slightly different vibe than their rustic Calamigos Ranch wedding in Malibu later this year. They really like Santa Monica, so they decided that they wanted to shoot their Engagement Session at Callahan’s Diner, Palisades Park and the Georgian Hotel AND they wanted to include their adorable pup. Aside from some dangerous flirtation with the possibility of getting brain freeze while drinking the shake at the diner, I think that we all agreed that the session was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Here is another super rad wedding we shot last year (can you tell we have been blogging maniacs lately? trying to catch up for 2012!)

Jessica and Eric’s wedding was all around fantasticalness. Yup, I needed to make up a new word because neither fantastic nor radness (which I am pretty sure is made up too, now that I think about it…) would cut it on their own. First, Jessica and Eric are all around wonderful people. They are hilarious, they love How I Met Your Mother, and they are as sweet as can be. What’s not to love? THEN, they got ready at the gorgeous Biltmore in Los Angeles and had an amazing wedding at Cicada in Los Angeles that was filled to the brim with swagger, style, and TONS of fun! The speeches were so hilarious we could hardly keep our cameras steady through all of the laughter. There were so many people dancing that we literally could not fit on the dance floor! Here are a few of our favorites from their big day:
