So, you may have guessed that I receive a lot of Save the Dates and wedding invites. I love when a couple sends me out all their awesome paper goods and I have seen some really amazing invites from very creative couples. I am also very sentimental so I keep everything I get. I figured I should share some of the awesome work witjh you. Everything from handcrafted invites to classic and elegant letter press work. So enjoy this eclectic and fun mix!

Nicole Bertotti - Love seeing all the different invites!! Such a cool idea to post them.ReplyCancel

When I met Liz and Greg they had just made a quick trip from Nevada ,where they reside, to lovely Camarillo California to look at venues and meet photographers. I knew the instant we sat down I was going to love them. Liz is totally sweet and bubbly (in the best way) and you can just see from the way Greg and her look at each other that this is 100% love. They decided they wanted to make another trip out for their engagement and I am so glad they did. We had been having a touch of grey skies and gnarly weather so I was ready to bust out the rain boots and shoot in some puddles but luckily it cleared right up for their session and we had an awesome time shooting in the gorgeous Southern California light. I cannot wait to see them again at their Maravilla Gardens wedding later this year.

Joe - OHHHHH!!!! I looove the one with them in the frame with the sunburst! It literally made me smile. =o)ReplyCancel

When I first met Drew and Lindsey it was obvious that Drew is hilarious, Lindsey is adorable, they are in love, and I knew that the camera and I would both love them too. But, I distinctly remember the moment that I said to myself, “these two are awesome!” I asked Lindsey to lean against a fence and have Drew cuddle in close. As Drew leaned in he smiled as he coyly stated “Someone’s ear is in danger of having hair brushed over it.” From that Zombieland quote until the end of the shoot, we laughed, explored and even splashed all over Carpinteria, capturing fun moments of this adorable couple all along the way. I can’t wait to get back up to Carpinteria to shoot their wedding at the Rincon Beach Club later this year.

    T. Stark - Wow Marianne! These are fabulous photos. You captured Lindsey and Drew perfectly. Aren’t they a blast? They couldn’t have chosen a better photographer. Can’t wait to see the wedding photos. Oh! And get ready for a lot of fun on their wedding day – the extended families really know how to celebrate.

    Cheers!ReplyCancel

Drew - We are famous!!! I love these pictures. I also like being first on the blog. Can everyone else be added below us in the future? In all seriousness though Lindsey and I were just talking about how lucky we are to have you as our photographer and Joe too, even though we weren’t allowed to look at him.ReplyCancel
