I love when I meet with a couple and we instantly click, we can chat not just about their wedding but about them, what they like, favorite shows etc. That was how meeting Jessica and Eric was. Jessica is super upbeat, sweet, sassy and Eric…well he is similarly sassy and fun. Just to say, shooting their engagements was a heck of a good time for all of us. We discovered our mutual love of How I Met Your Mother, dresses with pockets, and maybe a little bit of trashy reality TV..not to mention our equal addictions to looking at peoples facebooks.
One thing I always ask my couples when trying to decide on a location for shooting is “Is there anywhere that has significant meaning to the both of you?” Immediately Jessica and Eric brought up Camp Hess Kramer off the PCH in Malibu. This is the camp Jessica attended growing up and later Eric would become Assistant director at. It was the perfect spot to shoot them at! We had a blast and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding 6 months from yesterday at Cicada in Los Angeles
