I am not sure if i say this enough (or too much) but, I love my couples!! I just want to give a huge shout out to all of my wonderful Brides and Grooms who rock out their sessions and completely trust me, even when I sound a little nuts. (example: Now, can you please climb up on that fallen tree limb above the running creek?). Paige and Brien are no exception to this, it was great hanging out with them and gettin some beautiful photos while we were at it. I love that you can tell they are 100% in love. Their September wedding at Hartley Botanica in Somis California is going to be not only gorgeous but I suspect it will also be filled with people who probably always knew they would end up together.

Wanna see Paige and Brien sittin on a tree? (k-i-s-s-i-n-g…)

First of all, Happy Earth day! I celebrated with a 6 mile hike on this Gorgeous Southern California day. So blessed to be able to enjoy such great hiking trails right in my own city.

Now, are you loving all these engagement session posts? Cause I sure am having a blast doing them!

Bridget and Kevin rocked out their session like no other. They were completely amazing to work with and I know their wedding is going to be completely stunning this coming July in Manhattan Beach, how can it not be when these two are such stunners themselves? They are full of life and love and I know you will love their engagement photos as much as me!

We started their session in the canals at Venice beach and then made our way around the eclectic streets of one of my favorite beach towns. We ended with a tasty beverage at the famous James Beach restaurant/bar right off the boardwalk.

Here are more than a few of my favorite images from their Venice beach engagement session:

I absolutely love shooting at places I have never been. I was so excited when Adriane and Cory said they wanted to use Los Angeles Union Station as the backdrop for their engagement session. The vintage feel to Union Station was the perfect setting for their semi vintage themed session. Cory and Adriane are also getting married at one of my favorite local venues, Maravilla Gardens! I cannot wait for their wedding coming up in just a few short months. These two were so great to shoot with, fun, funny, relaxed and easy goin. I had a great time getting to know them during their session.

Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot.

So as you might know I often meet with my brides and grooms before being booked for their wedding date. I love meeting new couples, chatting over coffee, and then seeing if we would be a good match personality and style-wise. Well…I didn’t get that chance with Katie and Joey. But I did get the next best thing! I got to meet with Katie’s mom, sister, and good friend. You see, Katie and Joey live in Colorado so Katie did the internet leg work while her mom and sister met with vendors. It was actually great getting to chat with her mom. The first time I met these two was for their engagement session just a few weeks ago, we instantly clicked and I loved working with them. Such a fun/funny and easy going couple. I cannot wait for their June wedding at the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A.
