So the past few weeks have been one giant emotional rollercoaster here at the Marianne Wilson studio. With the loss of my Uncle and Grandfather mixed with a HUGE number of bookings and inquires happening at around the same time things have been pretty hectic! I just want to say “Thank You” to all my family, friends, and outstanding clients for being so loving and supportive through the craziness. You all are a huge blessing and I am thankful to have you around.
The holiday season is one of my favorites. Seeing family, buying gifts for people, cooking, eating, laughing, singing, and being jolly are a few of my favorite things (yes, I just sang that as I was typing it) and I love being able to do them all within a short span of time. But, with the holidays also comes a lot of stress. There are lines at the post office, lines at the shopping malls, lines at the grocery store, presents to buy, money to try to stretch and family to appease. It’s a lot to handle! I just want to remind ya’ll that the Holidays are a time to spend with family and to treasure the ones close to you! So, take a deep breath and relax into that Snuggie I know you got at your Office party and sip some peppermint hot chocolate (yum!) with someone you love. Those are the things you are going to remember, not the presents you got, but the people you spent time with.
Now that I am done sounding like a Hallmark card, I have a lot of new posts to share and I cannot wait to sit down and spend time doing some heavy blogging, so keep an eye out for all sorts of goodness to come!
And, because every post is better with a photo. Here is a teaser photo from Jen & Ryan’s Los Angeles engagement session:
P.S. If you are a potential 2010 bride who is thinking about contacting me for information or to set up a time to meet, do it ASAP because, I kid you not, 2010 dates are going like hotcakes :)
