This Triunfo Creek Vineyards wedding is brought to you by Abigail and Steve. Abigail and Steve: Melting faces with awesomeness since a long time ago.
Our last installment of the Abigail + Steve + Marianne Wilson Photography saga we regaled you with tales which nearly took us back to the very origins of Marianne Wilson Photography. But the excitement does not end there, my friends. Ohhhhh no.
Today, we get to tell you about Abigail + Steve’s Triunfo Creek Vineyards wedding. To summarize: Abigail + Steve’s wedding was a spectacle of happiness and love.
Here’s why: these two crazy kids were SO remarkably excited to marry one another! We have found that most brides and grooms really revel in the delights of their day leading up to their ceremony. Brides delicately sip down a mimosa or two while they get pampered having their hair and makeup being done for them. They laugh and joke with their bridesmaids and family members and they really just want to take in the experience. The grooms hang out with their groomsmen and take down a few drinks with the guys and pretty much just want to hang out and not think about the fact that they are about to stand in front of hundreds of people and be… gulp… “emotional.”
That is totally cool and we love it when brides and grooms do that!
That just issn’t how we would describe Abigail and Steve. Make no mistake, Abigail and Steve enjoyed their day from beginning to end (or at least it seemed that way to us). But, they were a couple who were unmistakeably on a mission to get married. Abigail must have excitedly asked “is it time yet?” ten times from when she arrived at Triunfo Creek Vineyards until she was actually walking down the aisle. When people would say “no, it is going to be another 20 minutes or so before we start” Abigail would let out a sweet sigh and say “I am just SO ready to be married to Steve now!” Similarly, from the second that Steve showed up at Triunfo Creek Vineyards, he was all about the business of getting ready and getting his vows transferred from his laptop to paper. Yeah, they hung out with their bridesmaids and groomsmen and they had a great time. But it was obvious that these two were ready to be married and nothing was going to stop them.
Not even the wind.
And oooooohhhhhhhhhh what wind there was! We are talking about full tables being cleared of their contents in one gust types of wind. We are talking about heavy duty camera tripods, DJ speakers, and probably small children who wandered to far from their parents being blown right over. Like… INSANE amounts of wind people!
But Abigail and Steve were undeterred. My friends, they were like the honey badgers of the wind. They didn’t even care. The second they saw each other, they lit up like firecrackers and you could just tell that all day the only thing they had been waiting for was to be together. It was awesome.
